The Saintes Islands

Located 13 km south of Guadeloupe, the Saintes archipelago consists of 9 small islands,
of which only 2 are inhabited :
Terre de Haut and Terre de Bas.
Daily shuttles provide the crossing in 15 minutes from Trois Rivieres, 25 km from your holiday rental.
This bay ranked 2nd most beautiful bay in the world is the essential visit to any stay in Guadeloupe !

Time seems to have stopped at the Saintes, and it is very pleasant to stroll there without any precise aim.
Colored creole houses, flowery gardens, stalls overflowing with souvenirs, madras, handicrafts and local rums,
tunes of biguine coming from here and there … You have understood, we love these islands !

Our favorites ? The view from the Napoleon Fort, the “Pain de Sucre” or Pompierre beaches,
a hike to “le Chameau”, iguanas, the famous “Tourments d’amour” …

Do not miss to visit Terre de Bas, less touristy but no less charming and exotic.

And what about the seabed ! Parrot fish, turtles, angel fish, corals, sponges, gorgons …
an incredibly diversity of species lives in the waters of the archipelago.
