Dating back to 1895, it is the oldest distillery in Guadeloupe still in operation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Go there in the morning when the cane is harvested (from January to July), an ideal time
\nto visit the distillery <\/span>and discover the process of making the agricultural rum it produces.<\/span><\/p>\n

The walk takes you to the heart of the machineries, impressive mechanisms straight out of another century.<\/span>
\nIn addition to visiting the “entrails” of the distillery, and after a walk through the cane fields, the Field of Marquisat<\/span>
\nof Sainte-Marie will reveal its aging cellars and its shop, an opportunity to taste their different rums …<\/span><\/p>\n

You will understand, this visit is a real journey in time, which will surely surprise you !<\/span><\/p>\n
