\nLocated at 25 min from our rentals, the waterfalls are considered among the most beautiful falls in the Caribbean.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n

The first waterfall is the highest of the three. It makes a spectacular jump of 115 m (approx. 380 ft.) in two stages.<\/span>
\nFrom the Carbet reception area, a partly finished path will take you there after a \u201cbit sporty\u201d hike of 1h45.<\/span>
\nDuring humid weather, the mist combined with the rainforest create a strange atmosphere\u2026<\/span><\/p>\nThe 2nd waterfall is the most accessible one. With its height of 110 m (361 ft.), it’s also the best known one of the three.<\/span>
\nStarting from the parking lot, the less sportive ones can approach it after 20 to 30 minutes of easy walking.<\/span>
\nUnfortunately, since the 2004 earthquake it is no longer possible to get to the foot of the waterfall and its pond ;<\/span>
\nthe itinerary now stops at the hang bridge because of the high risk of landslides.<\/span><\/p>\nIt is preferable to take this walk during the morning hours, thus avoiding the mist on higher altitudes<\/span>
\nand enjoying a better view at the foot of the 1st waterfall.<\/span><\/p>\n
